Based on my experiences going tiny (125 sq ft) in the fall of 2014, I have developed the "Super Simple Kitchen Gear List"! Join me as I use this list to choose the kitchen equipment I will move into our 128 sq ft Skoolie (a bus made into a home) when she is finished. Since I've already lived tiny for several years, I already know what we use and what we don't use.
For folks who have never lived tiny - what you "need" is based on what you're used to. So of course you have a very long list of things that "need" to go with you into your tiny house. It may seem overwhelming to get it all to fit, or fearful - what if you downsize the wrong thing?! Here's a simple non-threatening way to learn what you actually need to create great food in a tiny house - from someone who knows.
Download the PDF and grab a pen and paper to make some notes, and let's get started. Adapt my list to your own situation and take the next step on your journey going tiny. This 15 minute video will show you the simple kitchen gear needed to create great food - even in a small space.
I'm an author, speaker, and coach helping folks navigate the transition to a simple life in a smaller space, minimizing the mundane aspects of life, to make room for great big dreams. I am a retired pastry chef and restaurant owner and I have lived with my Austrian pipe organ builder husband and our adorable dog in 125 square feet since the fall of 2014. In 2018 we sold our first tiny, moved into our workshop, and began work on a shuttle bus turned Skoolie - which will be 128 square feet. Our family jokes that we live in the space of a 'sardine tin' but we eat like royalty!
